RIGHT STEP UK

Support that meets real life

Life rarely arrives in neat categories. We offer practical, person-centred help across the areas that can make it difficult to feel safe, stable and able to move forward.

HOW WE SUPPORT

Housing and benefits

We can help people understand housing options and benefits processes, prepare for appointments, communicate with services and access advocacy when it is needed.

  • Housing stability and practical tenancy support
  • Benefits navigation and advocacy
  • Help preparing questions and gathering information

HOW WE SUPPORT

Money and financial wellbeing

Money worries can affect every part of life. We offer calm, non-judgemental guidance with budgeting, debt concerns and finding appropriate specialist advice.

  • Budgeting and everyday money skills
  • Debt guidance and onward referral
  • Support to understand choices and take manageable steps

HOW WE SUPPORT

Mentoring and life skills

Consistent relationships can build confidence over time. Mentoring and practical skills support can help with routines, communication, planning and independence.

HOW WE SUPPORT

Criminal justice resettlement

We support people navigating transitions from criminal justice settings back into the community, helping connect practical needs, trusted services and personal goals.

HOW WE SUPPORT

Young people and neurodiversity

Support is adapted around the young person, not the other way round. We can work with young people with ADHD, autism, mental health and behavioural needs, in partnership with families and relevant professionals where appropriate.

  • Predictable, respectful and strengths-led support
  • Life skills, mentoring and positive activities
  • Partnership with education, health and community services

HOW WE SUPPORT

Personal plans, shared decisions

We agree a plan with each person, set goals that matter to them and review what is working. If another service is better placed to help, we aim to support a thoughtful connection.

Our services are not an emergency or crisis response. In immediate danger, call 999.
